Peak Eikaiwa is mainly for adults who want a friendly learning experience where they can develop their English skills through conversation. Some students want to learn English for business and communication, some for travel, and some have English conversation as a hobby.

The teacher is Peter, a native Australian, with dual British citizenship. He has lived and worked in his homeland Australia, the UK and the USA. Trained as a teacher, and with over 25 years experience of teaching and training, he has been living and working in Aichi since 2003. He knows the Japanese culture well, knows the common errors Japanese people make when speaking English, and knows how to correct those errors and explain the reasons.

How is Peak different?

Japanese people spend a lot of money on books and CDs to learn English. But with home study, the most important thing is usually missing - speaking practice - and that is what Peak Eikaiwa offers.

We talk – face to face - and out of our conversation come the grammar points and the vocabulary.

Here is another big difference. If you like value for money, then why pay for an hour and only get 45 or 50 minutes?

At Peak Eikaiwa, you pay for an hour, and you get a full hour. You book for two hours, you get the full two hours.
